Meet the face of The Developing Brain

Lily is a provisional psychologist with a deep passion for complex mental health and trauma-informed care. With extensive experience working with individuals ranging from 4 to 90 years old and addressing various psychological presentations, Lily has developed a profound interest in understanding human behaviour and the intricacies of the mind. Her commitment to psychology was further strengthened through her work, particularly in observing individuals' challenges in accessing appropriate care.

The inspiration for creating The Developing Brain stemmed from Lily’s firsthand encounters with clients who expressed feeling misunderstood, unable to access critical mental health services, and dismissed due to gaps in education and awareness within some healthcare and educational systems. This experience fueled her desire to bridge these gaps and advocate for a more informed, compassionate approach to mental health, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of age or background, receive the care and understanding they deserve.
